Glowing as a Bride From the Inside Out
Discover how to achieve your best bridal glow and maintain confidence in your skin with helpful tips and self-care strategies.
As I'm counting down the days until I say "I do," I've been knee-deep in bridal prep mode, and it's been quite the journey! With just three weeks left until the big day, I've been prioritizing self-care like never before. I wanted to share some of my experiences and insights with you all, in case you're also navigating this exhilarating (and sometimes overwhelming) journey to bridal bliss.
Hair
First off, let's talk about hair. As a bride, you’ll want your hair to be the perfect length on your wedding day.
Usually, at least for me, it takes 2-4 weeks after a haircut for me to love the length of my hair. Getting a fresh cut is always nice, but I personally prefer when it settles in a little that way it looks more natural. So if you’re like me, here’s your friendly reminder to book your haircut a month or so in advance to ensure it’s the perfect length for your wedding day. Trust me, giving yourself that buffer is a game-changer, and of course you can always get a touch up if needed!
And the same goes for your men, but usually on a shorter timeline. Boys hair typically grows in faster at around 1-2 weeks, so make sure to book theirs in advance as well.
These aren’t necessarily things you’d do differently, but rather you’re just planning more effectively leading up to your day.
Nails
And let's not forget about those nails! I’ve indulged in a Russian gel manicure this past weekend, knowing that in 3 weeks I’ll be ready for a fresh one that will look flawless when I walk down the aisle. It's the little things that make a big difference, right?!
Skin
Now, onto skincare. I’ve been focusing a lot on my skin this year as it’s been something I wanted to improve for quite some time and being a bride was the right excuse to stop procrastinating. I got into a steady routine in the morning and at night using so many products from 111SKIN which have been a game changer. Linked here is a step-by-step of the products I use daily to help maintain and nourish my skin.
I recently had an interview with ENews! where I shared my winter essentials. Read here: Everything You Need to Upgrade Your Winter Skincare and Beauty Routine, According to Amazon Influencer
On top of this, I recently treated myself to a Tracie Martyn Sculpting Red Carpet Facial, and WOW, talk about feeling like royalty! This facial is recommended for firming, contouring, lifting, anti-aging, all perfect for a pre-event glow which is why so many brides love it. “Our proprietary microcurrent technology gives you a natural facelift while helping to speed up the production of collagen and elastin. You will immediately notice a more lifted and defined appearance and cumulative long-term benefits with continued sessions. Think of it as a gym for your face.”

With that said, of course these products come with a price and can add up quickly. If you’re looking to splurge without entirely breaking the bank, their skin masks are the perfect, budget-friendly skincare option for you. If you’re looking to get a treatment at Tracie Martyn, just say “LEXITOBIN” for a discount.
I've also booked a lymphatic drainage session with Rise Up Beautyy for the week of my wedding. The same way the Tracie Martyn Sculpting Red Carpet Facial is a natural lift goes the same for Rise Up Beauty. This treatment is meant to naturally sculpt your body by incorporating massage techniques to help increase circulation, decrease any appearance of cellulite and reduce swelling. It's all about that pre-wedding glow from within!
Brows
Of course, we can't forget about brows! Sabria's Brows is where it's at for shaping those arches to perfection. Use “LEXITOBIN” for 10% off your next visit with Sabria!
Workouts
If you’ve followed along with me over the past couple of months, you’ve seen how dedicated I’ve been to The Liv Method. Although The Liv Method mainly focuses on personal strength training, they also offer group classes through MindBody which can be more cost-friendly.
As of this week, they also just launched “The Bridal Collective” which is a comprehensive 16-week program for brides designed to increase fitness, morale, health and nutrition while decreasing stress during the wedding planning process. The program only has 12 spots available beginning March 2nd through June 22nd!
I've also always been a huge fan of my ClassPass membership, which allows me to mix up my workouts with everything from pilates and barre to cardio classes.
Not only do all of these exercises make me feel stronger and healthier, but it's also a huge stress reliever for me - especially in the wedding planning process.
Ultimately, this journey has taught me that feeling confident in your skin isn't just reserved for your wedding day—it's a lifelong commitment to self-love and care. So whether you're a bride-to-be or simply someone who wants to feel their best, remember to prioritize your well-being every step of the way.
Here's to embracing the journey to bridal beauty bliss and beyond!
With love,
Lexi
