As a bride, one of the first steps after you book a wedding date is to also make sure you lock in your vendors - this includes hair and makeup vendors on your special day. Not only is your hair and makeup a reflection of your personal style as a bride, but it’s also a vital part of creating that perfect, memorable look for your special day. So once you book your date, make sure to research different hair and makeup vendors and book the one most favorable to you. In this week’s newsletter, I’ve curated some exclusive tips and New York vendor recommendations to help you shine on your wedding day.

Before we jump in, it’s important to mention the importance of both a hair and makeup trial before your big day. A lot of the time, brides think they know what look they envision for their wedding day, but sometimes after trialing it out you realize it’s not for you. You might search for inspirational photos on Google, but this might not always live up to your standards. The same way you may think you know what type of engagement ring you want before trying it on goes the same for hair & makeup. Of course there comes a price tag with a trial, so I’d also recommend booking it on a day where you have a special event, like your bridal shower, that way it doesn’t go to waste.
