Playlist Perfection: Wedding Songs You'll Love (Or Not)
From First Dance to Last Song, I've Got You Covered
As many of you know, I got married on 3/2/24, which means my one year anniversary is coming up just next week. Where is the time going?!
A lot of you have been asking about my music choices on my wedding day - songs I walked down the aisle to, played during cocktail hour, the reception, after party, first dances and so on. With that in mind, I’m so excited to share with you a little sneak peek behind the curtain of my own wedding planning specifically music to hopefully help guide you with yours (of course only if we have the same taste in music!!)
When going through this list, please keep in mind a few things:
This is entirely my personal preference! Music taste is super subjective, and what I love might not be everyone’s cup of tea and that’s okay. These selections are just what felt right for our wedding!
This could be slightly dated, as it is from almost a year ago. You might want to see what the new trending songs are this year!
Music is such a personal thing, and I've put a lot of thought into curating a mix that reflects our style and the vibe we want to create. Get ready for a blend of our favorites, some dance-floor fillers, and a few special tunes that hold meaning for us. I'll also share a few songs we're politely asking to be avoided (because, let's be honest, everyone has those!)

My own Spotify curated playlists:
Wedding song picking shouldn’t be stressful!! I know it might feel overwhelming to narrow down, but I highly recommend you make it a fun activity with your fiance. Sit on the couch, listen to music while cooking dinner, and go through all of the songs and add them to your own curated playlists based on YOUR preferences. There’s no right or wrong - it’s all about what you vibe to!
Happy music hunting!
Love,
Mama Cohen to be!
