One of the first things that brides think about when they get engaged is “Should I hire a wedding planner?” For some, this may be a simple yes or no, but for others, they may need to factor in all the pros and cons to come to a final decision. No matter what you’re thinking or feeling, just know you’re not alone.

73% of survey respondents feel like they definitely need a wedding planner, whereas the remaining 27% feels they can plan their wedding on their own.

50% of survey respondents who recently got engaged have no clue where to even start with wedding planning, and the other 50% voted that they do.

When people ask me why I decided to not hire a wedding planner, the answer is simple - because I absolutely love every step of this journey. Fortunately for myself, my parents have always been incredible entertainers and have taught me how to be one myself. With that said, I’ve learned a lot about hosting and planning, and over time I’ve become so passionate about this in both my personal and professional life. With that said, having a wedding is something I’ve always been excited to plan on my own!
