Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. Welcome to my SubStack where I cover everything you need to know as a bride.

I was inspired to create “The Bride Guide” when I was a 2024 bride myself. Without the help of a wedding planner, there were a lot of questions I had along the way. If you’re here, maybe that resonates with you, too. Luckily for you, I’ve completely learned the in’s and out’s of being a bride and am excited to help guide you through your journey. Think of me as your bridal big sis.

By subscribing to this newsletter, you’ll get all of my posts automatically delivered to your inbox weekly. I get a lot of DMs through Instagram and TikTok asking a ton of questions about being a bride, and although I’ll continue to engage and reply on my socials, I wanted to find a place where I can expand on the advice that I’m giving for those who may need. I hope this platform will be a more personal space for us to engage in the bridal community - something I wish I had when I was a bride.

About Me

I started my career as a proposal planner when my brother-in-law asked for help planning my older sister’s proposal. I loved the process from start to finish - the behind-the-scenes planning and coordination, the set-up, choreographing the exact moments of getting down on one knee, and the celebrations to follow. After the proposal was complete, I knew this couldn’t be the last one I planned. So I decided to continue pursuing this newfound passion of mine by helping friends and family who needed it. The more proposals I planned, the more I learned, and the better I got with each one. I then grew my team, created a business and am constantly helping so many people plan one of the most special moments of their lives.

As my proposal planning business continued to flourish, so did my relationship. I got engaged myself in March 2nd, 2023 and married exactly one year later on March 2nd, 2024 to my husband Ben.

My engagement was an extremely special time. As you can imagine, my passion for proposal planning mirrored my other newfound passion for wedding planning. But of course, this was my first time being a bride, so there were still a lot of things I was learning through my own journey.

I had a lot of questions, and when I say a lot, I mean A LOT. So, I figured, why not ask my followers what they think? Completely unplanned, I created this community of brides who engaged in the topics I was posting about. I quickly noticed I wasn’t alone nor was I the only one with questions.

With wedding planning, there are a lot of moving parts. There’s interviewing and choosing vendors, figuring out how to cater to your budget, looking for inspiration of the overall vision all while dealing with a lot of different personalities along the way. It’s extremely exciting and of course also extremely overwhelming. Through all of the wedding planning, it’s important to always come back to the core of it all - which is simply celebrating the love you have between you and your fiancé - and I’m here to remind you of that.
